Front Office Staff

Angela is our office manager and a crucial element to our office. A mother of four, she provides support and efficiency essential to our daily life. She oversees all aspects of our work, including patient accounts and billing, payroll, and office staffing. She can fill in at any position and is a great mentor to our employees.

Shelley works behind the scenes, making sure our office runs smoothly and coordinating with insurance companies. Her job is to make sure they take care of all of your needs.

Wendy coordinates all gynecologic surgeries, cesarean sections, and labor inductions. She is a perfectionist in her work and gives a lot of care and attention to our patients to make sure that all their procedures go smoothly.

Holly and Vanessa are the first faces you'll see when you enter our office. They are warm, friendly and eager to help you get checked in.

Erica will help you check out of our office. She is helpful in planning your follow up, and providing answers to any last-minute questions.

Katie handles the check-in and post-visit check out procedures at our Rockwall office.

Samantha and Briana will help schedule your appointment at either of our locations.

Leigh Anne handles all our patient accounts. She is professional and thorough in helping with any issues that you might be having with your account.

Nursing Staff

Deb is a Registered Nurse Practitioner and Midwife originally from England. She is our nursing supervisor and oversees our abundance of obstetrical patients. Although she no longer does deliveries, you can expect to meet her at your first OB visit. She is a wonderful resource for our expectant moms.

Brandy, our on-site Sonographer, joined Women's Health Specialists in November of 2010. She completed the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at Sanford Brown Institute in 2007, and became registered in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2010. She is also certified with the Fetal Medicine Foundation in Nuchal Translucency scanning, and a member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Stephanie has been with us since 1999 and works primarily with Dr. Brough. You can always expect a smiling face and helping hand from Stephanie.

Kim is Dr. Pero’s medical assistant who has been on our staff since 2002. She brings her pleasant attitude and detail-oriented personality to help take care of her patients.

Leslie is Dr. Remedios' medical assistant. She joined our office in 2009, and brings a cheerful and professional work ethic to the team.

Heather is Dr. Angel’s medical assistant. She started with us in 2011 bringing in more than 7 years of experience in the OB/GYN field. She works at both of our locations with a very energetic and efficient work ethic.

Tiffany is our Triage Nurse. Tiffany will help to evaluate your medical needs and at all times maintains a warm and reassuring attitude that she will answer all your questions.

Jennifer is Dr. Blewett’s medical assistant. She is the newest member to our practice and is very eager to meet and help our patients with all their needs.
